McConnel’s new Tuffcut 480 rotary mulcher features a new flat top deck and comes with 7-year gearbox warranty as standard. The all-new flat deck design minimises the build-up of debris in work and ensures quick and easy cleaning between jobs. With a working width of 4.6m, 8 transport wheels and option of 3, 4 or 6 blades per rotor, the new Tuffcut 480 can cover large areas quickly and efficiently, perfect for stubble management, grass maintenance, scrub clearance and cover crop mulching. Ideal for large-scale farmers, local government teams, and professional mowing contractors, Tuffcut machines can be used in a huge variety of applications from airports and sports venues to pasture and stubble. Hardened updraft swinging blades ensure an effective cutting capacity of up to 100mm, while hydraulically folding wings ensure a fast and smooth transition from transport to working position.
